The entry of a late-19th-century house in Brooklyn is a showstopper, with walls in Benjamin Moore’s Razzle Dazzle. The table and side chair (covered in vintage needlepoint) are Louis XV, and the mirror is 18th-century Italian. Designed by Jonathan Berger.

A Chocolate Brown Entryway designed by Ned Marshall, the hot pink sofa is a knockout against walls painted Benjamin Moore’s Bittersweet Chocolate. Marshall painted the floors in a tone-on-tone gray marbleized plaid.
Inspired by the absolute gorgeousness of this amazing bedroom I decided to centre today’s blog post around the idea of pink and blue bedrooms (mixed in with some white an creams of course).
With stunning white and pink paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling, the china blue bedspread and assorted pink trimmed pillows even the wooden panelling looks romantic and welcoming. This is the source of my inspiration!
Following on from above we reverse the roles with a light pink bedspread and wonderful china blue details in the pillows and all over the room. Furniture in white like in the picture above for that vintage chic feel.
In a slightly darker shade of blue and deeper shade of pink. Playing with florals, pure white walls and painted furniture comes this wonderful bedroom from Fiona of Blue Bell Gray.

It will have more of an impact on people, whether it is a contemporary, vintage or retro design than if you marbled your bathroom from floor to ceiling! If you want to have a pink bathroom you have to be one with the pinkness of it! for this is something that you shall be staring at everyday of your life and various times a day too!
In order for a pink bathroom to work well and not be an overwhelming experience (especially for the males of the family) the key is to create balance. For a crisp and clean feel choose white and pink, you may also create great contrast with pink and browns. Make the doorframes and window-seal stand out in a pretty dark brown.

Next is a modern pink bathroom with a retro twist. Love the bubbly circular retro patterns in this latest Mimo bathroom design from Laufen. This is a more daring version than the example above with a room more heavily doused in pink. But by confining the use of the pink color to the walls, shower curtain and toilet seat cover this makes it easier and cheaper to change the color scheme later on. Keeping the most costly bathroom items such as the bathtub and toilet in a classic white means you can alter things inexpensively later.
