Zebra print can be added to the bedroom for an edgy touch in many different ways, here we have two gorgeous bedroom ideas incorporating this print.
The bed in interior designer Jamie Drake’s taxicab-yellow Manhattan bedroom is upholstered in a Clarence House zebra-print silk; lacquer bedside tables, custom-made bed linens by E. Braun & Co., and a pair of Gene Davis silkscreens showcase Drake’s flair for drama. Photographer: William Waldron and Designer: Jamie Drake for elledecor.com
From Architectural Digest Espagna No38, we have this beautifully rustic yet modern bedroom, love the concrete slabs on the walls and the amazing art!
Lately I have been dreaming of white rustic bedrooms, the kinds that exist in the Greek Islands. Pure white linen with white washed walls and cool stone floors. The key being white and minimalist.
There is no other color like the color red for maximum impact appeal! The color red appears to advance towards you while making all other colors in the room retreat.
Everyone’s idea of red in their minds eye is different as expressed in the following quote:
If one says “Red” – the name of a colour – and there are fifty people listening, it can be expected that there will be fifty reds in their minds. And one can be sure that all these reds will be very different.

And now for some red walled bedroom inspiration!
Pull one statement-making color out of a bedspread fabric for the wall color to get an unforgettable look. Here, candy-apple-red walls are bold and in control. For eye-catching artwork, paint empty picture frames white and place them on the wall above the bedframe. The white pops against the red, adding interesting contrast to the walls.

Red Baroque bedroom with walls painted in a bold Craig & Rose shade are offset with chunky French-style carved pine furniture and a gold mirror to make a strong statement in this bedroom. Light-coloured decorative curtains, carpet and bedding prevent the room from being too overbearing.

A bedroom has been transformed into a cosy haven with rich ruby red walls and a matching throw and cushions. A striking palm-leaf cushion gives the room a modern feel. Pretty candles and brass accessories, like the lamp, complete the warm and inviting look.
In this Oriental-inspired bedroom one wall is painted in bold red, which adds depth to this neutral scheme. Pale wooden furniture blends into the caramel-coloured walls and carefully placed accessories and the orchid bed linen from Next completes the look.
All that’s old is new again when spruced up with color and the appropriate comforts. This dark Gustavian-tyle bed from Viva Terra Here is made from reclaimed fir and is an ideal compliment to Benjamin Moore’s Vibrant Blush, a rich stain on the surrounding walls. Blue and white bedding soften the room, and stitched throw pillows add a handcrafted feel.

Sheets and pillowcases in orange and purple are enough to raise the temperature in this room and the red walls take it to the next level! This bedroom is sure to give you rosy cheeks.

A lovely red bedroom wall combined with damask throw pillows on the bed for pure perfection!
Make a cushioned headboard from different prints and textiles. Pick fabrics in coordinated colours to cover nine cushions that can be fixed together to a plyboard backing, and get an expert to assemble for you.
Inspired by the absolute gorgeousness of this amazing bedroom I decided to centre today’s blog post around the idea of pink and blue bedrooms (mixed in with some white an creams of course).
With stunning white and pink paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling, the china blue bedspread and assorted pink trimmed pillows even the wooden panelling looks romantic and welcoming. This is the source of my inspiration!
Following on from above we reverse the roles with a light pink bedspread and wonderful china blue details in the pillows and all over the room. Furniture in white like in the picture above for that vintage chic feel.
In a slightly darker shade of blue and deeper shade of pink. Playing with florals, pure white walls and painted furniture comes this wonderful bedroom from Fiona of Blue Bell Gray.
From Country Homes & Interiors comes this next bedroom. Country mixed with coastal blues.
Another country style home with light blue walls and a feature wall in soft floral wallpaper. Again white painted furniture seems to work a treat when combined with pastel pink and blue bedding.

And now let’s take this idea up a notch and match the chequered headboard with the wallpaper and just about everything else! Intense room but nice combination of patterns.
With wallpaper from Thibaut comes this unique pink and blue bedroom design.
A large coastal print gives the room personality, while the addition of a third window allows light in and takes full advantage of the beautiful outside view.
As pure and white as snow, create your own piece of heaven with these bedroom ideas in white! Play with patterns and textures for interesting visual effects.
White inspires restfulness. The bedroom is your haven and white is about evoking a tranquil mood and a sense of calm.
A dreamy daybed in a palette of pure white: from the bedding to the art to the draperies, makes this a perfectly pretty escape. What this room lacks in color it makes up for in texture. Cushions and drapes and art a fabulous mish mash of amazing textures with pleating, ribbing and ruffles.

Wonderful whites, this bedroom is a perfect showcase of how a room can be decorated in all white but be full of character. The tones range from cream to brilliant white, giving the room depth. Quality white sheets give that luxurious hotel look, which in turn that sense of hotel luxury creates a feeling of relaxation as if you’re on holiday everyday!
